Candle Care 

• Why is there soot in my candle jar? 

• My candle is tunneling...

To avoid tunneling you must allow your candle to reach a full melt pool on its first burn. This can take between 3 to 4 hours. Your candle will retain an even burn for the subsequent burns. 

• My wick is mushrooming... 

Please trim your wick between burns. This will reduce your chances of experiencing a mushroom on your wick

• When is my candle finished? 

Once your candle has 1cm of wax left it is time to blow out your candle. DO NOT reburn. At this point the glass will be hot and could shatter. 

• Can I burn my decorative candles? 

Yes you can, however I would strongly advise you place them on afire proof dish. You significantly reduce the risk of any accidents or damage to furnishings by doing this as these are stand alone candles. This means they will melt onto whichever surface they are on.
